Day-1 - Jaipur

Day1 of the package starts and we pick you up in Jaipur from your given location. The tour of Jaipur is of two nights where you can actually explore the different attractions of this pink city. Let us have a look at various places where you can spend time on Day 1

  • Amber fort and palace

Amber fort and palace is situated amidst the rocky Aravalli Hills. This place is a not-to-be-missed one. This place was founded by Raja Man Singh I and later was completed by Mirja Raja Jai Singh. The beauty of the white marble and the red sandstone adds to the amazing look of this palace. You will enjoy the panoramic views of sunrise and sunsets at this palace. The wall paintings and the precious gems and jewels used in the paintings add to the beauty of this palace.

You can also see the ‘Palace of the mirror’, also known as Sheesh Mahal in the Amber fort. A single ray even illuminates the entire hall as the hall is decorated with many pieces of mirror tiles.

  • Nahargarh Fort

To see the wide view of the city Jaipur, Nahargarh fort is one place to visit. This fort is built by Jai Singh II. The original name of this fort was Sudarshangarh and was later named as Nahargarh fort known as the Abode of Tigers. This fort was constructed to mainly improve the security system of the particular area. During the night time, when there is lighting all around in the city, Nahargarh fort offers you a list view of the entire city.

  • Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of the Winds

Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds or the breeze, is one of the most amazing places to visit in Jaipur. This palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1798. Hawa Mahal is built in a form of honeycomb with a five-storey extension. This building consists of around 953 small windows which are known as jharokhas and are decorated with latticework. The palace mainly shows the crown of Lord Krishna.

It does not matter if the season is summer or winters, the cold breeze persists in the palace always. Due to this, the Hawa Mahal is a perfect stop for tourists.

  • Jal Mahal or Water Palace

This palace is a combination of the Mughal and Rajput styles of architecture. Jal Mahal is a five-storey building made of red stone. The four storeys of this palace always remain underwater. You will be having a breathtaking view of this palace because of its extreme magnificent beauty.

  • Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar. Agra is also a city made of red sandstone. Fatehpur Sikri is known to be the UNESCO world heritage site. Fatehpur Sikri is a combination of unique architectural concepts as well as the various religious beliefs.

  • Agra Fort

  • Humayun’s Tomb

This tomb was built for the Mughal emperor Humayun in the 16th century. This tomb elaborates the Persian design. This tomb also has a small museum near the entrance which tells you the history of the tomb. This place is also one of the UNESCO world heritage sites.

  • Chhatarpur Temple

This temple is located in South Delhi. This temple holds the Goddess Katyayani (Durga) and is made of marble.
