8-day tour from Delhi to Jaipur

Day 1

Your trip will begin at 10 a.m. and we will first visit the places in Delhi. 

• India gate- coming to Delhi and not visiting India gate is so unfair. So, the first place that we will be taking you is the India gate. Originally known as All India War Memorial, it was built in the memorial of the soldiers who died in the First world war. You can visit the place anytime you want as it is always open. 
• Red fort- red fort is one of the most beautiful sites built in Delhi. It was built by the Mughal emperors and the royal families continued to live there. The structure is made out of complete red stone. Every evening a show related to the history of the fort is shown and the fees for children are INR 30 and for adults, it is INR 80. 
• Qutab Minar- another great archaeological structure in Delhi is Qutab Minar. It is a very tall tower-like structure that is 73 meters in height. It was built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak. It reflects the Mughal style of architecture and the entry is allowed only during the day between sunrise and sunset. 
• Lotus temple- is one of the major tourist attractions in Delhi. It is built in the shape of the lotus flower but the color is pure white. It is built of 27 free-standing marble-clad petals in the clusters of three. The entry to the temple is free. 

After that, you will be dropped back to your hotel. There you can take rest and prepare for the next day.

Day 2

The next morning again, we will pick you from your hotel and then move to other places.

• Chandni Chowk– is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Delhi. You can find various things in the market such as sarees, ornaments, accessories, footwear, shawls and a lot of other things. you can get a lot of stuff for you as keepsakes from Delhi. 
• Jama masjid– it is one of the largest mosques in India and depicts the richness of Mughal culture. There are also 2 forty meter high minarets made of red stone and white marble. Entry to the mosque is free and that too on all the day of the week. 
• Sarojini Nagar market– for the shopping lovers, Sarojini is one of the best markets where you get so many clothes, shoes and accessories that too at very affordable prices. The basic things here will not cost you more than 200-250rs. 
• Gurudwara Bangla sahib– it is one of the most famous gurudwaras in India. It has also become a very famous tourist attraction in Delhi. There is also a pool inside the complex. You can have the pleasure of enjoying langar in the gurudwara as well. 

Day 3

The next morning, we will check out from your hotel and then move to Agra which is 233 kilometers from Delhi and takes almost 4 hours to reach there. Then we will check in to your hotel in Agra and there you can take some rest. Then after lunch, we will go to see Agra:

• Taj mahal- one of the seven wonders of the world stands magnificently in Agra. Taj Mahal is built up of pure white marble. It was built in the loving memory of Shah Jahan’s wife Mumtaj. It attracts a lot of tourists every year. 
• Agra fort- it is one of the finest built Mughal forts in India. It was built by emperor Akbar. The fort is made up of red stone and marble. It speaks vividly of the Mughal culture. The fort has Shish mahal and Diwan e aam. 
• Taj nature walk- to the eastern gate of taj mahal and 500 meters away from it, there is taj nature walk where you can enjoy some alone time with a view of Taj. The place has some greenery, beautiful birds and peacocks. 
• Mehtab bagh- it is just opposite to the Taj mahal and it is a treat to the photographers as the place gives some of the spectacular views of the Taj mahal. The place is open from 6 am to 7 pm. 

Then you will be dropped back to the hotel. 

Day 4

The next morning, we will travel to Ranthambore which is 263 kilometers and takes almost 6 hours from Agra. You will check in to your new hotel and then take some rest. Then we will head to the Ranthambore national park to experience some magic of nature. you can enjoy the view of various animals and birds in the park. Then you will be dropped back to your hotel. 

Day 5

Next morning we will again go to the national park. There you will enjoy the open safari where you will be able to see the animals and birds in their natural habitats. A guide will be there with you to acknowledge you with various things about the park and the animals. It will be a lovely experience for you to have.

Day 6

On day 6, we will check out from the hotel and then move to Jaipur which is 190 kilometers and takes almost 4 hours from here. 

• Jaigarh fort- this is one of the most beautiful forts in Jaipur and is situated on a hilltop called Cheel ka Teela. Jaigarh fort covers Amer fort and a famous artificial lake Maota. The entry fee of this fort is 35INR. It will take a total of 2 hours to explore. 

• Jhalana Leopard safari- in this safari, you will enjoy leopards in their natural habitats. The price of this safari is INR 2100 and it takes 2 and a half hours to do this activity. 
• Albert hall museum- it displays some of the best paintings and craftsmen of the artisans of the place. It also has one of the six Egyptian mummies that was a gift to the king at that time. the fee of the museum is INR 20. 
• Hawa mahal- It is a very beautiful building built in the shape of a crown. The mahal displays the Rajputana architectural style and was supposed to be a view area for the queens and her maidens. The entry fee here is free. 

You will be then taken back to the hotel.

Day 7

Next morning, we will again begin with all the sight-seeing in Jaipur and see some more places:

• Chokhi Dhani- it is one of the best village resorts in Jaipur and here you will get to enjoy all the festive celebrations of the place. It gives you a glimpse of the traditional Rajasthani culture. You will enjoy folk music, traditional dancers, a swimming pool and everything. The price here is 750 per person. The timings of the place is 5:30 pm to 11 pm. 

• Johari bazar- this is a very beautiful market representing the richness of the city. you can buy all kinds of jewelry, ornaments, handmade stuff and so on for you. the entry to the market is free. 

• • Maharaja ki Chhatri- it is a royal place in  Jaipur where the dead bodies of the royal family have been buried along with some message. The carvings on the tombstone display the works and preaching of kings. This place is a collaboration between Hindu and Islamic cultures. The fee for the place is INR 30.

• Jaipur zoo- it is one of the most famous zoological parks in India and is home to some of the most amazing animals and birds’ species. The state maintains the zoo and the fees of the zoo is INR15. 

After this, we will drop you back at your hotel.

Day 8

The next morning, we will drop you at the railway station or airport wherever you want us to drop you.
